A sculpture must earn its place in the world. It must carry tension, memory, fear, protection or some other force stronger than simple decoration.
The workshop may stop.
The work must remain.
Every model begins as an argument: does this form deserve material, machine time, hand finishing and a place in someone else's life? Weak concepts die before printing. Strong concepts are pushed until the silhouette hits first and the meaning stays after.
